چکیده
Objective: It is to reveal the differences between clinical, angiographic, in-hospital and one-year follow-up results young elderly patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.
Material Methods: This study was designed retrospectively in two centers. 2891 were screened; 260 of which young. randomly selected among both groups evaluated.
Results: The median age 37 (34-39) years 65 (56-73) years, male gender dominant groups. Young more likely be admitted Killip class 1, while older 2 (P=0.002). Single-vessel disease common (81.0% vs. 46.3%; P<0.001), multi-vessel (19.0% 53.7%; P<0.001). In follow-up, all-cause hospitalization lower younger patients, but there no significant difference mortality patients.
Conclusion: presenting infarction frequent smokers, obese dyslipidemic although outcomes better than elderly, similar those elderly.

Study of the Duration, Outcomes, and Related Factors of Reperfusion Therapy in Patients with ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction
Background and Objective: One of the most important advancements regarding the care of patients with acute myocardial infarction is the administration of anti-coagulation medicines (e.g., streptokinase). However, it must be noticed that this medicine requires rapid and timely administration. Moreover, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is increasingly used as a method of revascularization...

PURPOSE We aimed to discover clinical and angiographic predictors of microvascular dysfunction using the index of microcirculatory resistance (IMR) in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). MATERIALS AND METHODS We enrolled 113 patients with STEMI (age, 56±11 years; 95 men) who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The IMR was measured with a p...
